Sacco Mann is working with a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in Accounts Clerking or finance to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to varied financial processes, working closely with internal teams and senior management to support accurate reporting and smooth financial operations.
The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, with responsibilities including:

Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping

Managing and maintaining accounts

Ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliations

Liaising with internal departments to support financial processes

Assisting with management reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks

Supporting senior finance team members as required
The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, or similar finance role

Experience working with accounts or cost tracking

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

Sound understanding of accounting principles and finance processes

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software

Confident communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team
