The Role

We are working with a leading national law firm that is seeking to recruit a Banking & Finance Associate to join its growing team. This role offers the chance to work with major UK clearing banks, specialist lenders, and international institutions, with a strong pipeline of high-quality work. The team focuses on real estate finance and corporate banking, with opportunities to build relationships across the national practice.

What you’ll be doing

  • Advising on real estate finance, corporate lending and wider banking transactions.

  • Acting for a range of clients including clearing banks, alternative lenders and international institutions.

  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex matters while managing your own caseload.

  • Building and developing client relationships, with the freedom to leverage contacts across offices.

  • Collaborating with colleagues in other practice areas, including corporate, real estate and private wealth.

About you

  • Experience of banking and finance work, ideally across real estate finance or corporate lending.

  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to deliver pragmatic, commercial solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.

  • Team-focused, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines.
