Sacco Mann is recruiting for a dedicated Banking Solicitor to join a leading multi-award-winning law firm based in Leeds. Responsibilities

They are looking to appoint at the mid-level upwards and broadly take on the following:

  • Draft, negotiate, and oversee facility agreements and other financial documents to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Lead and take ownership of key transactions, providing expert advice from inception to completion.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships, engaging in business development initiatives to grow the client base.
  • Contribute to the strategic objectives and sector-specific focus groups within the firm.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' qualified experience in banking or financial transactions.
  • Experience advising on a broad range of banking matters, preferably with exposure to real estate or corporate finance, particularly within healthcare and living sectors.
  • Proven ability to handle transactions independently, with excellent technical and advisory skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Property, Construction, Commercial, and Corporate teams.
  • Enthusiasm for sector-specific work, business development, and building a personal practice.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality legal service with a proactive, compassionate, and collaborative approach.
