Claims Handler | Leeds | Hybrid Working
Sacco Mann is recruiting for a Senior Claims Handler role based in Leeds, on behalf of a reputable client. This role involves managing a high-volume claims portfolio, with a primary focus on Employment Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) matters.
You will take responsibility for each claim from initial instruction through to resolution, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal processes and established best-practice standards. The position requires proactive relationship management with clients and insurers, as well as effective claim assessment, negotiation, and settlement to secure the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

5+ years’ experience in personal injury and property claims

Proven ability to manage a caseload of pre-litigated fast-track and multi-track liability and property claims (ideally including EL/PL and medical malpractice)

Strong understanding of applicable legal procedures and claims-handling processes

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Strong organisational skills and confidence in managing a busy caseload

A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
