Sacco Mann is currently seeking a Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join an expanding team of expert solicitors in Leeds. This is a great opportunity to work on complex, high-impact cases that often change lives.
You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the team from initial client instruction through to case resolution, gaining exposure to every stage of the legal process in this specialist field. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting solicitors, fee earners, and partners on a wide range of clinical negligence matters
- Managing case files from start to finish, including archiving and compliance
- Gathering and preparing medical records, case documentation, and evidence
- Communicating sensitively with clients, experts, counsel, and other professionals
- Taking accurate notes during key meetings, conferences, and court attendances
- Coordinating billing, managing disbursements, and liaising with Accounts
- Managing team diaries, booking meetings, and keeping tasks on track
- Staying current with legal developments and contributing to team learning
- Assisiing with business development activities and promoting the team’s profile
About You:
- A Law-related degree or LPC is essential
- Previous clinical negligence experience essential – can be as little as six months
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and professionalism
- Confident communicator with both clients and colleagues
- Passionate about clinical negligence
