An established and growing regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join its specialist litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and interesting clinical negligence matters within a supportive and well-structured team.
The firm will consider candidates who are looking to qualify as solicitors. Where candidates have completed SQE 1 and SQE 2, and the firm is open to supporting qualification.
The Role
You will be involved in handling your own caseload of clinical negligence files, while also supporting solicitors on higher-value and more complex claims. The work is varied, challenging, and offers genuine exposure to high-quality claimant clinical negligence matters.
This role would suit an experienced paralegal who enjoys responsibility and technical work, and who is keen to continue developing within this area of law.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of clinical negligence matters
- Assisting solicitors with complex and high-value claims
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Liaising with clients, experts, and other parties
- Supporting cases through the pre-action and litigation process
About You
- At least 12 months’ paralegal experience handling your own clinical negligence caseload
- Previous claimant clinical negligence experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident in communicating with clients and professionals
