A highly regarded defendant Clinical Negligence team is recruiting a Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to advance their career. In this specialist Health Advisory and Litigation team, you will handle a varied caseload, supporting partners and contributing to high-quality legal services across complex clinical negligence matters.
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
- Manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence claims, to include high-value and complex cases.
- Provide proactive and strategic management of claims on behalf of defendant clients including NHS resolution.
- Assist partners in handling complex matters and offer secondment support to key clients remotely and on-site.
- Conduct legal research, advise on the implications of new statues, regulations and case law.
- Supervise junior fee earners and contribute to business development initiatives.
What they are looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor, ideally 1-4 years PQE, however strong NQs with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Clinical Negligence experience is preferred (defendant or claimant), or experience in catastrophic personal injury cases.
- Previous exposure to inquest or healthcare advisory work is advantageous.
- Passion for developing client relationships, delivering exceptional service and managing complex claims.
- Defendant experience preferred but open to claimant.
