One of the largest law firms in the North of England are seeking an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a team with an excellent reputation in Carlisle. You will provide high-quality, efficient and client-focused legal service specialising in medical negligence matters.
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
- Interview and advise clients on medical negligence claims, including law, procedure and evidence.
- Manage medical negligence cases from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Draft legal documentation, correspondence and pleadings, and undertake legal research.
- Maintain excellent standards of client care and communication.
- Develop strong, commercially aware client relationships.
- Contribute to business development and profile-raising activities within the medical negligence practice.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
- Keep up to date with developments in medical negligence law and maintain continuing competence records.
What we are looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor with 4-6 years’ PQE and proven experience handling clinical negligence matters.
- Strong technical knowledge of clinical negligence law.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- A commercial and client-focused approach.
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and commitment to high standards of service.
