The Client

Sacco Mann is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Commercial Counsel to work for a leading, Private Equity-backed global manufacturer provider of standardised and custom high-performance components to the oil and gas and the power generation industries.

 

The Role

This role offers the chance to be a critical advisor to key personnel within a dynamic organisation, specialising in commercial agreements and contract management. Some hybrid working is offered but the role will require this person on site a minimum of four days from their international HQ near Walsall.

 

The Person

The successful candidate will work alongside the legal consultant and provide strategic legal guidance, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies. The position involves working closely with various departments to support business operations, mitigate risks, and optimise contractual relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a background in contracts seeking a long-term, stable role within a forward-thinking organisation.

 

  • Qualified solicitor with c3-7 years PQE in relevant experience in commercial law and contracts
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience providing legal advice on complex commercial transactions
  • Ability to interpret and advise on contractual terms and legal risks
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to relay complex legal concepts clearly
  • Proactive approach with excellent organisational abilities
