A leading national law firm, we are delighted to be working with, is seeking to hire a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 3 years+ experience to join their Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded practice advising public and private sector organisations, health and social care providers and charities, on a wide range of complex and high-profile contentious matters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy Commercial Litigation caseload, advising on complex dispute resolution matters including:
Within this role, you will be responsible for:

Managing cases through all key pre-trial stages, including pre-action engagement and case merit assessment

Preparing instructions for Counsel
-
Supporting Case Management Conferences
-
Managing disclosure exercises
-
Assisting with witness statement preparation and expert evidence
-
Supporting trial preparation
-
Advising on alternative dispute resolution strategies
-
Interpreting complex contractual arrangements and identifying risk and mitigation strategies

Delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice
The successful candidate will ideally have:

At least 3 years' experience in commercial dispute resolution law

Solid experience of alternative dispute resolution
-
Strong commercial awareness
-
Ability to interpret complex contracts and communicate risks clearly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
-
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives

Inclusive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
Experience advising health, social care and/or charity sector clients would be advantageous, as would experience in partnership disputes.
