The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
- Advising clients on a broad range of disputes including contractual, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Handling cases through all stages, including pre-action, litigation, and settlement
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal documentation
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Working closely with colleagues on complex and high-value disputes
- Providing clear, strategic, and commercially focused legal advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Running a commercial litigation caseload appropriate to your level of experience
- Managing disputes from pre-action through to trial or settlement
- Drafting legal documentation including pleadings and witness statements
- Advising clients on risk, strategy, and dispute resolution options
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties
- Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedural requirements
- Meeting deadlines and contributing to team targets
About You
The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and technically strong. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2–6 years’ PQE in Commercial Litigation
- Experience handling a range of commercial disputes
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and as part of a team
- Commercial awareness and a strategic approach to disputes
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- A collaborative and professional attitude
