Commercial Projects Solicitor

Commercial & Projects Solicitor | Birmingham | Superb Firm | Hybrid

The Role

A well-established national law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial & Projects Solicitor to join its growing Birmingham team. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of complex commercial and infrastructure-related work, advising clients on strategically important projects across both the public and private sectors.

Rather than focusing on a single sector, this practice supports clients delivering large-scale commercial arrangements, long-term service contracts and infrastructure-led projects, often with a strong regulatory or procurement element.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with experienced partners and a supportive team, you will:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and project contracts
  • Support clients on the structuring and delivery of major commercial and infrastructure projects
  • Advise on risk allocation, contract strategy and project governance
  • Work with colleagues across finance, real estate, construction and regulatory teams
  • Build trusted relationships with clients operating in regulated and operationally complex environments

Who This Would Suit

  • A qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE
  • Experience in commercial contracts, projects, infrastructure or outsourcing
  • Comfortable handling complex documentation with supervision
  • Commercially minded, practical and solutions-focused
  • Keen to develop a long-term career within a collaborative national team

Prior exposure to infrastructure, utilities or public sector projects is helpful but not essential.

Why Join?

  • High-quality commercial and projects work with national reach
  • Early responsibility and strong partner access
  • Excellent training, mentoring and structured progression
  • Hybrid working and flexible arrangements
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits
  • A firm known for its inclusive culture and long-term investment in its people
