Are you an experienced commercial property solicitor looking to take your career to the next level within a dynamic and supportive team? Our client, a highly regarded legal practice in Leeds, is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Property to join their close-knit team who have a leading reputation locally within Development work. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality development projects, ranging from office, industrial, retail, leisure, to residential developments, with a focus on complex projects such as forward funding and development joint ventures. The position is hybrid, providing flexibility alongside a package aligned with your experience, complemented by excellent benefits and a collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of commercial property matters related to development and regeneration projects
  • Advise clients on the promotion of strategic land and land acquisition/disposal transactions
  • Assist with property investment, asset management, and property financing matters where appropriate
  • Provide guidance on residential development projects, including Build-to-Rent schemes
  • Work closely with clients, the internal team, and external consultants to deliver bespoke legal solutions
  • Navigate complex projects involving local authorities and varied stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience within property development, ideally within a busy team or practice
  • Strong understanding of property law, including regeneration, strategic land promotion, and ideally property finance
  • Excellent communication and client handling skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to managing and progressing casework
