COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ASSOCIATE /SENIOR ASSOCIATE | 3–10 YRS PQE | LEEDS
We are working on an exceptional opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor / Senior Associate to join a leading international law firm based in Leeds.
While there are many commercial property roles available, this opportunity genuinely stands out.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You would work closely with a highly respected and trusted Partner who is genuinely invested in your development. The role involves working hand-in-hand with them, with a clear long-term plan for you to succeed them. They have a proven track record of developing talent and there is no glass ceiling. Although you would be part of a successful national team, there are no barriers to progression within this role.
VARIED AND HIGH-QUALITY WORK, including:
CLIENT CONTACT
You will have significant client exposure, with the opportunity to be involved in client development if you wish. Client development here is not networking-driven; instead, it focuses on positioning yourself as a sector expert through webinars, podcasts, and attendance at sector-specific conferences.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
You will work within a genuinely collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering work to clients. This includes close working relationships with Employment, Commercial, and other specialist lawyers, creating a notably different and engaging working environment.
FLEXIBILITY
The firm offers hybrid working with no plans to increase office-based days. They also provide exceptional flexibility around working hours, actively supporting time-shifting. This well-established approach allows you to balance a successful career with personal commitments—whether that’s school pick-ups, going to the gym at quieter times, or simply that you work more effectively at different times of day.
CLIENTS
You will work with significant clients on matters that genuinely make a difference.
Ideally, candidates will have experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters, including asset management, development, acquisitions, disposals, and strategic advisory work. That said, the firm is open to shaping the role around your strengths and offering training in areas where you may have had less exposure.
Joining this prestigious organisation offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded team delivering high-quality legal services to prominent clients. The role comes with a competitive salary, clear and ongoing professional development, and exposure to high-value transactions. You will also be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace committed to equity and excellence, with outstanding long-term career prospects in a global legal environment.
