The Opportunity

A leading national law firm is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join its highly regarded Birmingham practice. This role offers the opportunity to work across a balanced mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, supporting major projects and high-value disputes across a range of sectors.

The Role

Your work will include a combination of advisory, transactional and dispute-related matters, such as:

  • Drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts
  • Advising on procurement strategies and risk allocation
  • Supporting live projects with ongoing contractual advice
  • Acting on construction disputes, including adjudication, arbitration and litigation
  • Working with consultants, contractors, developers and funders
  • Collaborating with colleagues across real estate, projects and disputes teams

The role is designed to offer variety, responsibility and exposure to complex, high-quality work.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in construction law
  • Experience across contentious and/or non-contentious construction matters
  • Strong technical and drafting skills with a commercial approach
  • Confident managing client relationships and working as part of a team
  • Motivated to develop within a leading national practice
