The Opportunity
A leading law firm with a strong reputation in construction law is seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor to join its Birmingham office. The firm advises a broad client base on complex infrastructure, regeneration and development projects. This includes both contentious and non-contentious matters.
About the Team
The Construction team provides a broad offering, covering the full life cycle of matters. The team works closely with colleagues in other departments.
Solicitors in the team are widely recognised for their technical skill, commercial insight, and ability to deliver practical solutions. The team acts for developers, contractors, public sector bodies and housing providers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising developers, contractors, and public sector clients on construction, development and infrastructure projects.
- Providing procurement and project structuring advice.
- Advising on asset management, maintenance and decarbonisation projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
What You'll Need
- Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years’ experience in construction law.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction matters.
- Proven ability to manage files and client relationships independently.
- Excellent commercial awareness and client service skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
