Sacco Mann are pleased to be working with a well-established commercial law firm in Greater Manchester seeking a Construction Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a lawyer with solid construction experience to take on a varied and high-quality caseload across both contentious and non-contentious matters (flexible depending on background and preference).
You will advise developers, contractors, funders, and public-sector clients on a broad range of construction issues, including contract negotiation, risk management, project advisory work, and dispute resolution. The firm offers a supportive, collaborative environment with real prospects for career development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle a mix of contentious and/or non-contentious construction work
• Draft, review and negotiate construction contracts and ancillary documents
• Advise clients throughout the project lifecycle, from procurement to completion
• Manage disputes through negotiation, adjudication, arbitration or litigation
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development activity
About You
• Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in construction law
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC etc.)
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with autonomy
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
