Consultant Solicitor

Consultant Solicitors – Multiple Practice Areas

Are you an experienced solicitor ready to take control of your career, maximise your earnings, and enjoy true flexibility? I am working with a forward-thinking consultancy law firm offering lawyers the opportunity to practise as self-employed consultants, with the backing of full infrastructure and support.

We are particularly interested in hearing from solicitors in Property, Corporate & Commercial, Private Client, Employment, Family, and Dispute Resolution who are looking to step away from the constraints of traditional private practice and build their own practice on their own terms. Whether you are currently in private practice or already working as a consultant, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, profitable, and supportive platform.

The Role
As a Consultant Solicitor, you will:

  • Manage and grow your own caseload, with the autonomy of self-employment.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas, benefiting from a highly effective internal referral network.

  • Work entirely flexibly – cloud-based systems mean you can work from anywhere, with access to a central London office if needed.

  • Build long-term client relationships under your own name while enjoying the support of a respected consultancy firm.

Key Benefits

  • 75% fee share on work you generate.

  • Professional indemnity insurance fully covered.

  • Risk, compliance, and back-office support provided.

  • Guidance and support in building your practice.

  • Help with recruitment for your team – whether that’s a paralegal, legal executive, or associate hire to support your practice.

  • A very profitable internal referral structure to generate additional work.

  • Access to central London office facilities.

  • Regular networking and social opportunities, including monthly lunches and quarterly events.

About You

  • A qualified solicitor (ideally 5+ PQE) with experience in one or more of the firm’s core areas.

  • A track record of building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Entrepreneurial, motivated, and seeking greater control over your career.

  • Either an established consultant solicitor looking for a stronger platform, or currently in private practice and ready to transition.

This is an exciting opportunity for solicitors who want the best of both worlds: the independence of self-employment with the support, structure, and community of a modern consultancy firm.
