The Role:
As Conveyancing Team Lead, you will oversee a busy caseload while managing and developing a small team. You’ll be responsible for around 100 new instructions per month, covering the full spectrum of residential conveyancing matters and some commercial property work. Alongside your legal expertise, you will play a key role in business development and maintaining the firm’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, Help to Buy, remortgages, new builds, lease extensions, and buy-to-let investments

Supervising and supporting the conveyancing team to ensure efficient workflows and excellent client care

Overseeing and contributing to approximately 100 monthly instructions from local clients

Building strong relationships with agents, brokers, and referrers to generate new business

Supporting the firm’s CQS accreditation standards and contributing to ongoing compliance

(Desirable) Advising on commercial property matters
About You:

Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing

Previous experience in leading or supervising a conveyancing team

Strong track record in delivering client care to a high standard

Confident in managing a diverse caseload and meeting deadlines

Knowledge of CQS accreditation requirements
