About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE) to join an established and growing team in Birmingham. The role offers exposure to a wide range of transactional matters, working on complex and high-value corporate work for national and international clients.

You will work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on transactions from initial structuring through to completion. The team provides a supportive environment where Associates are encouraged to take ownership of workstreams, develop strong commercial awareness and build long-term client relationships.

The practice is well regarded for delivering sophisticated corporate advice outside London and regularly handles transactions with cross-border elements. Work spans multiple sectors including manufacturing, technology, life sciences and real estate, with opportunities to collaborate across offices and international networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising on acquisitions, disposals, investments and group restructurings
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Managing elements of transactions with appropriate supervision
• Liaising directly with clients, advisers and internal teams
• Supporting business development and client initiatives
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team

About You

This role would suit an Associate who is looking to continue building their corporate experience within a high-quality practice.

You will likely have:

• 2–4 years’ PQE with experience in corporate transactional work
• Strong drafting and technical skills
• A commercial and pragmatic approach
• The ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
• Confidence working with clients and as part of a wider team
