Corporate Partner Opportunity | Birmingham | Competitive Salary and Partner-level Rewards |

The Role

A rapidly growing national firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Corporate Partner into its Birmingham office. This is a key strategic hire within a highly successful practice that has gone from strength to strength in recent years. With a strong national platform, the team works with clients across a broad range of sectors, offering high-quality transactional and advisory work.

The successful candidate will be well established in the Birmingham market and bring with them a proven track record of client development. A portable following sufficient to cover costs in year one is essential, with the firm providing the support and infrastructure to enable significant growth from there.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading on corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations and private equity work.

  • Building on your existing client base while benefiting from a strong national platform and cross-referral network.

  • Playing a key role in the growth and development of the Birmingham office.

  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s wider corporate, commercial and sector-focused teams.

  • Contributing to strategic business planning and mentoring junior lawyers.

About you

  • Experienced corporate lawyer at Partner or Legal Director level.

  • Well connected in the Birmingham market, with a proven following.

  • Strong track record of winning and developing client relationships.

  • Commercially minded and ambitious, but collaborative in approach.

  • Looking for a firm with long-term growth prospects, low staff turnover and a supportive culture.

What’s on offer

  • A senior strategic role with genuine influence over the direction of the Birmingham office.

  • A well-established and nationally recognised corporate team.

  • High-quality client base spanning multiple sectors.

  • Competitive salary and Partner-level rewards.

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

  • An ambitious, forward-thinking firm with an excellent reputation as an employer.
