The Role
A rapidly growing national firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Corporate Partner into its Birmingham office. This is a key strategic hire within a highly successful practice that has gone from strength to strength in recent years. With a strong national platform, the team works with clients across a broad range of sectors, offering high-quality transactional and advisory work.
The successful candidate will be well established in the Birmingham market and bring with them a proven track record of client development. A portable following sufficient to cover costs in year one is essential, with the firm providing the support and infrastructure to enable significant growth from there.
What you’ll be doing

Leading on corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations and private equity work.

Building on your existing client base while benefiting from a strong national platform and cross-referral network.

Playing a key role in the growth and development of the Birmingham office.

Collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s wider corporate, commercial and sector-focused teams.

Contributing to strategic business planning and mentoring junior lawyers.
About you

Experienced corporate lawyer at Partner or Legal Director level.

Well connected in the Birmingham market, with a proven following.

Strong track record of winning and developing client relationships.

Commercially minded and ambitious, but collaborative in approach.
