Corporate Solicitor
The Opportunity
A leading national firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (4–7 PQE) to join its highly successful Birmingham-based corporate team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-value, often newsworthy transactions in a collaborative and well-supported environment.
The team advises a broad range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, business founders and private equity funds — including several US-based investors. Deal values typically range from £5 million to £100 million+, offering consistent exposure to complex, high-profile work across multiple sectors.
This is an excellent role for a technically strong, ambitious lawyer looking to develop within a high-performing yet friendly and down-to-earth team.
Key Responsibilities

Advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, private equity investments and restructurings.

Acting for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and UK and international private equity funds.

Leading on mid-market transactions and supporting partners on large, complex deals.

Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

Working closely with colleagues across the corporate, tax, banking and commercial teams to deliver joined-up client service.

Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
What we’re looking for

Qualified solicitor with 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law.

Strong transactional experience and strong technical skills,

Confident leading on transactions and managing client relationships.

Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills.

A team player who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Ambitious, commercially minded and keen to take on increasing responsibility.
