Our client is a progressive and well-regarded Liverpool law firm with a strong and loyal client base across Merseyside and the North West. They are on the lookout for a Senior Corporate Solicitor or Corporate Partner to join their Liverpool City-Centre based team.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an ambitious corporate solicitor ready to shape and grow a department within an established firm.
You will:
- Lead and expand the corporate practice
- Advise on mergers & acquisitions and business sales
- Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements and joint venture arrangements
- Oversee corporate restructures and governance matters
- Support commercial transactions and cross-departmental referrals
- Drive business development and strengthen professional networks
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law
- Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate advisory
- Demonstrable track record of business development
- Established following (preferred but not essential)
- Commercially strategic and growth-focused mindset
- Leadership capability with a collaborative approach
