The Role
We are working with a leading national law firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Associate into its Birmingham team. This role offers the chance to work closely with partners on a wide variety of tax matters, from transactional support to stand-alone advisory work. The team handles complex mandates across sectors including property, funds, energy and finance, often with an international element.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting on corporate deals such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings.

Advising on tax aspects of property, funds and financing arrangements.

Working with colleagues across corporate, real estate and projects teams to deliver integrated advice.

Taking ownership of smaller matters while assisting on larger, high-profile projects.

Building client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
About you

Experience of corporate tax work, ideally gained within a recognised practice.

Strong technical ability with a commercial approach to problem solving.

Confident communicator, able to deal directly with clients and intermediaries.

Organised, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
