Our client is seeking a Litigated Credit Hire Fee Earner to join a high-performing legal team specialising in credit hire and RTA litigation, based in Bolton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the defence of claims, and make strategic decisions that directly impact outcomes.

As a Credit Hire Fee Earner, you will be:
- Managing a caseload of litigated credit hire and personal injury files.
- Conducting complex investigations and applying strategic insight to each case.
- Developing case strategies with oversight and input from Team Leaders.
- Drafting key legal documents including defences, witness statements, and court forms.
- Handling all stages of litigation including disclosure, exchange of evidence, and trial preparation.
- Negotiating settlements with third-party solicitors via telephone and written correspondence.
- Liaising with insurers and policyholders.
- Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific guidelines.
Key Requirements:
- Solid experience handling litigated credit hire files.
- A strong understanding of the litigation process from issue to trial.
- Familiarity with CPR rules (including part 18 and Part 35 requests).
- Comfortable with target-driven work and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Case Management Systems.
- A degree or LPC is preferred.
