Are you an experienced credit hire litigator looking for the next step in your career? We are working with a fast-paced and growing team based in Liverpool where your skills will be valued and your development will be supported. You will manage a caseload of fast-track and multi-track litigated credit hire claims, working with a variety of liability-admitted and disputed cases.
As a Credit Hire Litigator, you will:
- Manage a personal caseload of litigated Credit Hire claims (fast- and multi-track).
- Deal with liability admitted and disputed matters.
- Follow case strategy and comply with court orders and internal protocols.
- Liaise regularly with credit hire providers and build strong working relationships.
- Attend hearings, including infant approval hearings.
- Use case management systems effectively (Proclaim experience desirable).
- Work collaboratively with the wider litigation team.
- Monitor and achieve individual KPIs around settlement, billing, and case duration.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in handling Credit Hire claims (essential).
- Strong understanding of RTA claims and related legal procedures.
- Knowledge of Credit Hire case law, MOJ protocol, Pre-Action Protocol, and CPR.
- Confident in managing your own caseload through to resolution or trial.
- Experience dealing with hearings, including those involving minors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and client-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Results-driven, organised, and resilient under pressure.
