The Opportunity
A reputable regional law firm is seeking a Debt Recovery Lawyer to join its established commercial litigation and recoveries team. This position offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of debt recovery matters for a wide range of commercial clients, from SMEs to large national businesses.

The Role
Working closely with senior colleagues and commercial clients, you will:
- Manage your own caseload of non defended debt recovery matters
- Provide practical advice on debt enforcement, contractual disputes and credit control processes
- Prepare correspondence, statements of case, applications and enforcement documentation
- Support clients with strategy, risk assessment and early settlement opportunities
- Participate in team know-how, process improvements and client reporting
- Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships with a focus on responsiveness and commerciality

The recoveries team has an excellent reputation for delivering efficient, cost-effective solutions to commercial clients. The practice works closely with the wider disputes group, ensuring exposure to a good mix of matters and the ability to learn from experienced litigators. The team environment is friendly, approachable and focused on providing a high-quality client service.
About You
- A qualified solicitor, legal executive or experienced fee earner with exposure to debt recovery or commercial litigation
- Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Clear communicator with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Keen to develop client relationships and contribute to the growth of the team
- Practical, commercially minded and solution focused
