The Role
The firm is recruiting for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their growing team in Alconbury. The role will involve acting for a significant number of agricultural clients, often within the context of long-established and sometimes dysfunctional farming families. This is a varied and challenging role, ideal for a solicitor who enjoys handling sensitive disputes and providing pragmatic, strategic advice.
Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters, including complex and high-value disputes

Advising agricultural clients, including farming families, on contentious issues

Handling disputes involving family dynamics, partnership issues, land ownership, and succession-related conflicts

Providing clear, commercial, and practical advice to clients

Developing trusted relationships with clients and internal colleagues

Working collaboratively across teams and offices

Supporting the firm’s strategic objectives and contributing to business development where appropriate
About You

Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in dispute resolution or litigation

Exposure to agricultural or rural clients is advantageous, but not essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive client relationships

A commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution

Ambitious, motivated, and keen to develop expertise in chosen specialisms
