Are you an Employment Solicitor looking to join a growing and forward-thinking law firm? This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, dynamic Employment team that combines both contentious and non-contentious work.
Our client is a progressive, award-winning firm, supporting a wide range of clients including high profile companies, with a focus on high-quality, commercially-focused employment advice.
The Role
As an Employment Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload covering all areas of employment, including both contentious and non-contentious work, albeit with a focus on contentious work. You’ll provide advice and representation to a wide range of clients, including high profile companies, on matters such as employment tribunal claims, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, and settlement agreements. You will have the opportunity to get involved in both litigation and advisory work, supporting the team with policy and compliance matters where needed.
What’s in it for you?
- Competitive Package: A salary and benefits package tailored to reflect your expertise and level.
- Career Growth: Ongoing professional development and opportunities to grow your profile.
- Work Life balance: Hybrid working model in place and this firm expects that its solicitors will enjoy a good work/life balance and not be working all hours.
- Professional Growth: A supportive environment where your contribution is genuinely valued and where you can develop your expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients across a broad spectrum of employment matters.
- Handle claims from start to finish, including employment tribunal and court proceedings.
- Provide clear, confident legal advice to corporate clients.
- Support the team in policy development and non-contentious matters such as TUPE and settlement agreements.
About you
The ideal candidate will be confident, technically strong, and committed to delivering exceptional service. You will have:
- Ideally 1+ years PQE in employment law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- A strong sense of client care and the desire to achieve the best outcomes.
- The ability to manage your own caseload, prioritise effectively, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
Please note our advertisements use PQE and salary level purely as a guide. We are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
