The Opportunity

A leading national law firm is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer (Senior or Managing Associate, 5+ years’ PQE) to join its growing Birmingham-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nationally recognised practice, advising employers and senior executives on a wide range of employment law matters. The team is known for delivering practical, commercial advice and building trusted relationships across a diverse client base that includes major corporates, SMEs, and high-profile individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on the full range of employment law issues, including dismissals, discrimination, TUPE, restructuring, and executive terminations.

  • Managing a diverse caseload of contentious and advisory matters for employers and senior individuals.

  • Providing strategic input to clients’ HR and leadership teams.

  • Supporting business development and helping to shape the continued growth of the Birmingham practice.

  • Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers within the team.


About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law.

  • Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

  • Commercially minded and client-focused, with the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic solutions.

  • Motivated team player who enjoys working collaboratively and taking initiative.
