A well-established and growing professional services organisation based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its expanding legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded employment lawyer who enjoys working closely with businesses and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of employment law matters, including:
- Advisory work covering day-to-day HR and employment issues
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Managing employment tribunal claims
- Advising on restructures, redundancies, disciplinaries and grievances
- Supporting clients with complex or high-risk employment matters
The role involves regular client contact and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with a diverse client base.
The Successful Candidate
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5–10 years’ PQE in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge across contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with excellent client-handling skills
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Experience advising employers is essential
