An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded and proactive Employment team in Newcastle. This is an excellent role for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive, commercial, and forward-thinking environment. There is also a great opportunity to gain exposure to a growing corporate immigration practice.
The Role
You will work as part of a well-established employer-focused Employment team, advising on a broad range of matters, including:
- Advising employer clients on day-to-day employment law issues
- Providing corporate support on transactions
- Assisting with strategic planning, restructures and re-organisations
- Managing and conducting Employment Tribunal claims
- TUPE and transactional support
- Executive severance matters
- Equality, diversity and wider HR advisory work
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with between 0–4 years’ PQE with experience in employment law
- Demonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- Are proactive, self-starting and solutions-focused
- Deliver exceptional client service
- Have excellent communication and client management skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
- Have an interest in business development
