This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Employment Lawyer to join a firm with a strong reputation for providing practical and commercially focused employment law advice to both businesses and individuals.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
- Advising employers and employees on a wide range of workplace issues
- Handling Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
- Advising on disciplinary procedures, grievances, and workplace disputes
- Negotiating settlement agreements and exit arrangements
- Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients
- Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Running a varied employment law caseload from instruction to conclusion
- Advising clients on employment disputes and tribunal claims
- Drafting legal documentation including contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in negotiations and tribunal proceedings where required
- Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with tribunal procedures
- Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Achieving fee-earning targets and contributing to team growth
About You
The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and committed to delivering excellent client service. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Employment Law
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Employment Tribunal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong attention to detail
- A client-focused and commercially aware approach
- A collaborative and professional team attitude
