Employment Solicitor (3–7 PQE) – London (Tier 1 ranking)


Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (3–7 PQE) to join a highly regarded London law firm. The firm is well known for providing commercially focused advice to a broad client base, ranging from SMEs to large corporates. This is an exciting role for a lawyer seeking high-quality work, strong client contact, and the opportunity to develop within a supportive team.


The Role
You will handle a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, often working alongside colleagues in corporate, commercial, and real estate teams. The role offers significant client contact and the chance to be involved in strategic and business-critical projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, contracts, policies, and compliance.

  • Supporting on corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, business transfers, and outsourcing projects.

  • Managing employment tribunal, civil court, and appellate litigation.

  • Advising on collective matters including restructuring/redundancies, TUPE, integration, and industrial relations.

  • Conducting and advising on regulatory and internal investigations.

  • Advising on strategic projects such as compliance with new employment law requirements.


About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3–7 years’ PQE in Employment law.

  • Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.

  • Commercially minded, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
