The Opportunity
A well-established, friendly firm in Shrewsbury is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its offering. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and approachable team, working closely with clients in the local community.
The role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of family law matters while enjoying the benefits of working in a smaller, people-focused environment where every individual’s contribution is valued.
Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on a broad range of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial settlements and cohabitation issues.

Representing clients in relation to children matters, including contact and residence arrangements.

Drafting key documentation such as consent orders, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.

Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

Playing an active role in the local community and supporting business development initiatives.
What we’re looking for

Qualified solicitor with experience in family law (NQ upwards).

Strong client care skills with a personable and empathetic approach.

Excellent communication and drafting ability.
