The Opportunity

A well-established, friendly firm in Shrewsbury is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its offering. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and approachable team, working closely with clients in the local community.

The role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of family law matters while enjoying the benefits of working in a smaller, people-focused environment where every individual’s contribution is valued. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on a broad range of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial settlements and cohabitation issues.

  • Representing clients in relation to children matters, including contact and residence arrangements.

  • Drafting key documentation such as consent orders, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

  • Playing an active role in the local community and supporting business development initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in family law (NQ upwards).

  • Strong client care skills with a personable and empathetic approach.

  • Excellent communication and drafting ability.

  • Organised and able to manage a varied caseload.
