This is a replacement role within a firm that has built an enviable reputation locally, generating consistent work in the local community with repeat business and client referrals. The incoming solicitor will step into an established caseload with a steady pipeline of instructions with a real opportunity to head up and grow their family offering.
The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload from inception to resolution, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters
- Division of assets, pensions, and property
- Drafting petitions and witness statements
- Representing clients in court
- Negotiating settlements
This is a standalone role offering genuine autonomy, supported by an experienced wider team. You will be trusted to run matters independently while maintaining the firm’s high standards of client care and service.
The Firm
This is a traditional high street practice with deep roots in the local community. Much of the work comes from longstanding client relationships, word-of-mouth recommendations, and repeat instructions, which reflects the trust and reputation the firm has established over many years.

About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 5yrs + PQE in family law
- Proven ability to manage a caseload from start to finish
- Strong client care skills and commercial awareness
- Business development skills
