About the role
This is a pivotal position within their litigation team, focusing on handling high-value disputes relating to investments, pensions, and financial advice. You will be responsible for managing a broad caseload, including complex claims involving negligent investment advice, mis-selling, and disputes with regulatory bodies such as the Financial Services Ombudsman. The role offers significant variety, with work currently arising from the firm’s growing banking team and commercial client base.
With an open track ahead of you there is plenty of scope for development and the appropriate reward - both fiscal and career - that comes with that. They need someone with the appetite to immerse themselves in this complex area of litigation and to build a dedicated presence.within the practice.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience in financial services litigation, or up to Partner-level based on the business case
- A strong background in handling high-value, complex disputes involving financial advice, pensions, or financial misconduct claims
- Excellent organisational and client management skills, with the ability to act as a key point of contact for major cases
- Ambition to progress within a growing firm, with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory environment and relevant industry experience
