Our client, a leading specialist Personal Injury practice who are ranked among the Legal 500, is seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join an expanding Group Litigation team in Manchester. This is an excellent chance to be part of a high-profile firm handling complex group actions, predominantly in the Media and Communications List of the High Court.
As a Group Litigation Solicitor, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of group litigation matters and fast-track data breach files from inception to completion.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Instruct and liaise with King’s Counsel on High Court matters.
- Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support a Partner on major litigation cases.
- Stay abreast of legal developments relevant to group claims and data privacy.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor with 0-5 years PQE.
- Proven experience in litigation; group litigation experience is preferred.
- Confident in managing a caseload independently.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet billing targets.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and highly organised.
