A leading national law firm is recruiting an experienced Family Law Solicitor to take on the role of Head of Family in its Alconbury office. This senior leadership position arises due to the planned retirement of the current Head of Family and offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of the practice.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the continued development and leadership of a well-regarded family practice, advising on a wide range of matters while shaping the future direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities

Leading and managing the Family Law team in Alconbury

Advising clients on complex and high-value family law matters

Handling sensitive cases involving divorce, separation, and children

Acting on financially complex claims arising from divorce and separation

Providing pragmatic, cost-proportionate advice with a strategic focus

Developing and maintaining strong referral relationships with professionals

Supporting business development and raising the profile of the family team

Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues
About You

Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in family law, including complex financial matters

Proven ability to manage and develop a team

Experience acting for agricultural or business clients is advantageous

Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills

A strategic mindset with a sensitive and pragmatic approach
