Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor / Legal Director

Our client is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor to join their highly regarded team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to specialise in health, social care, and education law, working on both contentious and non-contentious matters. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice and support in complex inquest proceedings and regulatory issues, all within a flexible working environment that promotes remote and office-based work. Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload covering advisory and litigation matters relating to health, social care, and education law
  • Represent clients at inquests, Court of Protection hearings, and Tribunals through advocacy
  • Assist with client care, fostering strong relationships, and supporting business development initiatives
  • Contribute to team management and supervision, sharing expertise and best practices
  • Provide specialist legal advice on regulatory compliance and social care issues

Requirements

  • 6+ years PQE in health, social care, or related regulatory law
  • Proven ability to work confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Technical excellence with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Lateral thinker with a practical, commercial approach
  • Demonstrated experience in advocacy at tribunals, inquests, or Court of Protection proceedings
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development activities
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for legal development
