Housing Litigation Solicitor

Sacco Mann has been instructed on a Housing Litigation Solicitor role within a Preston-based law firm that is known for delivering high-quality, results-focused legal services. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established Litigation team. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive environment while managing a diverse and interesting caseload of housing litigation matters.

 

You will play a key role in advising social housing providers and supporting them through a range of legal matters, disputes and proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop specialist expertise in housing and property litigation while progressing their career within a respected and growing team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of housing and regeneration litigation matters.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, opponents, courts/tribunals and third parties to progress cases.
  • Advising social housing providers on legal rights, regulatory compliance and strategic approaches to disputes.
  • Supporting colleagues and collaborating across teams on complex matters and projects.
  • Ensuring files are managed in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to team initiatives, business development activities and departmental objectives.

 

About You

  • Ideally 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Strong knowledge of property, housing and social housing law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing a busy caseload and meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering excellent client service.

 

Desirable

  • Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour (ASB) or housing management matters.
  • Previous involvement in business development or client relationship activities.
  • Experience conducting advocacy and attending courts or tribunals.
