The Role

  • An exceptional and rare opportunity for a rounded, commercially minded employment law solicitor now exists to join the team, delivering specialist legal advice on employment matters, including contracts, disciplinaries, grievances, family leave, redundancy, discrimination, and whistleblowing.
  • Day to day you’ll support the ER team with case management, helping to resolve issues effectively, drafting and reviewing employment contracts to ensure they reflect best practice and are legally up to date.
  • You’ll play a key role in shaping the groups employment policies and procedures, ensuring they align with our Group’s values and legal obligations and manage Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish, including advocacy at preliminary hearings where appropriate.

 

 

The Person

  • A Uk qualified and experienced employment law solicitor, its likely you’ve at least 3 years PQE and an ability to commute to their prestigious offices in South Yorkshire 3 days a week.
  • You’ll have a demonstrable understanding of the principles of working In-house and will be someone who typically thrives in a fast-paced environment, embracing the opportunity to work outside of your comfort zone, for the greater good of the group and legal team.
  • In exchange, you’ll be valued, stimulated and developed as a lawyer and commercial advisor, working alongside a team of very capable lawyers who are held in high regard throughout the business.
