In-house Patent Information Assistant - Hampshire

Impressive global business seeks a talented Patent Information Assistant to join their sizeable and collegiate patents team. You will assist the patents team by managing and coordinating patent information that is vital in ensuring legal compliance and minimising business risks. Day to day you'll handle administrative tasks, maintain data accuracy within internal patent databases, assist with report and documentation preparation, and facilitate communication across departments. An essential part of the role involves data analysis, problem-solving, and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.

This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple priorities, with a focus on data integrity and administrative excellence, contributing directly to the efficiency of the Patents team and overall legal function.

About you:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative or formalities role, ideally within a legal or fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to handle data entry, data management, and maintain data accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with databases
  • Experience in patent formalities or familiarity with patent management systems (beneficial but not essential)
