In-house Solicitor

The Client

Having recently placed with a well regarded plc, Sacco Mann is working with an associated ALSP which provides in-house style legal support from their HQ in Cheshire. They represent and assist victims of non-fault road traffic accidents to recover their losses from the negligent party's insurance company and are specialists in the credit hire and repair sector.

The Role

To manage a caseload of personal injury claims (both within and outside the MOJ & OIC Portals) and litigated credit hire claims on behalf of clients from commencement of litigation to trial or earlier settlement.  Engage with clients, counsel, third party insurers and solicitors to maximise the outcome of clients’ claims and assist in the issuing of other claims within the Firm.

The Person

A qualified Solicitor, the ideal candidate will have prior experience of Personal Injury / Credit Hire in a client-focused, litigation role and can demonstrate a working knowledge of the overall Claims process (pre and post-litigation) including: Claim Notification Forms, Fundamental arguments, Court Deadlines, Part 7 Claims, Part 8 Claims.

It’s quite an interesting model and the role and sector is likely to appeal to lawyers who want in-house style work with flexibility including largely remote working, with occasional travel into the offices in Cheshire.

Salary to £45,000 – Immediate start.
