Our client, a multi award-winning, independent law firm, is seeking to appoint an experienced Insolvency Solicitor at up to partner level to spearhead their expanding Insolvency practice in Leeds. Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the insolvency team in Leeds, establishing the firm’s presence within the local market
- Manage a diverse caseload involving creditor services, distressed asset acquisition & disposal, insolvency litigation, and corporate and personal insolvency
- Advise clients including insolvency practitioners, turnaround advisers, lenders, and management teams on a broad range of insolvency issues
- Represent clients in procedures such as administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and company voluntary arrangements
- Provide strategic advice to businesses and directors to avoid formal insolvency proceedings where possible
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities in the Yorkshire region
Requirements
- Proven insolvency experience as a Solicitor, ideally at senior or partner level
- Strong presence and contacts within the Yorkshire market
- Demonstrable leadership skills and a track record of building and managing a team
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently while being a team player
- Ambition to grow the Leeds operation and actively contribute to the firm’s strategic goals
