Sacco Mann is working with an international engineering consultancy who is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join its in-house legal team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a global, award-winning business operating across civil and structural engineering, sustainability and building services.
The Role:
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the in-house legal team, supporting the review of contracts and other legal agreements. You will support a team of solicitors who provide legal guidance covering GDPR, IPR, commercial contracts, commercial litigation and professional indemnity insurance so will cover a wide range of disciplines. Perfect when you are at the start of your legal career.
This opportunity is well-suited to individuals who are proactive, ready to take initiative, and willing to immerse themselves in a dynamic legal environment. You will need to have had some exposure to a commercial law firm or in house legal team but this can be from work experience.
About You:
- A 2:1 minimum in your law degree and strong A Levels
- Work experience from a law firm or an in-house legal team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
