The Role
Working as part of a dynamic team, you’ll handle a broad range of litigation matters, gaining exposure to varied and interesting work from day one. Ideally, you’ll bring at least six months of litigation experience -contentious probate experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
You’ll manage your own caseload under supervision, supporting senior solicitors on more complex matters while developing your confidence and technical expertise. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Managing a variety of litigation files from instruction through to resolution
- Progressing client work efficiently and maintaining excellent communication throughout
- Providing clear, practical legal advice with a strong focus on client care
- Maintaining accurate time recording and billing records
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders
- Taking part in business development and promoting the firm’s values and services
About You
- Qualified Solicitor NQ-2 PQE with at least 6 months’ experience in litigation
- Experience in contentious probate advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Confident in managing a varied caseload and progressing matters independently
- A proactive, positive team player with a commitment to professional development
- Comfortable using case management and document processing software
