About the Role

A leading regional firm is seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team based in Shrewsbury.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a Newly Qualified solicitor up to around 2 years’ PQE who is keen to develop a long-term career in commercial litigation. You will gain exposure to a wide range of high-quality disputes work, supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

 

The Role

You will work on a varied caseload of commercial and property-related disputes, with responsibilities including:

• Handling a range of matters such as contractual disputes, shareholder issues, professional negligence claims, debt recovery and property litigation

• Supporting senior lawyers on more complex and high-value disputes

• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and external contacts

• Continuously developing your technical knowledge across commercial and property litigation

• Contributing to business development activities, including networking and content creation

 

About You

The firm is looking for a motivated and personable individual who is keen to progress their career in dispute resolution.

 

You will ideally have:

• NQ–2 years’ PQE, with at least some exposure to litigation work during training

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A client-focused and commercially aware approach

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset

• An interest in business development and networking

 

A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the team are key.
