The Opportunity
A well-established regional firm is looking to recruit a newly qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor into its Birmingham office. As part of a thriving regional practice, you will gain hands-on experience acting for a varied client base that includes corporates, SMEs, and owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors. Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes, both contractual and statutory.

Assisting on complex litigation in the High Court as well as alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.

Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and settlement agreements.

Running your own smaller matters under supervision while supporting senior colleagues on larger disputes.

Building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development activities.

Working closely with colleagues across the firm’s corporate, commercial and regulatory teams.
What we’re looking for

Newly qualified solicitor (or trainee approaching qualification) with a seat in commercial litigation or another relevant disputes area.

Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly.

Excellent drafting and communication skills.

Team-focused, collaborative and eager to learn.

Commercially aware, with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
